Green Star#1
Our students are earning their first green star, that will be proudly sewn on their uniform, by replacing 5 frequently used lightbulbs with equivalent compact fluorescent lightbulbs within their home or the home of a friend or family member.
Good Bye Old Bulbs
Why:
If every home in the U.S. replaced five frequently used lights with equivalent compact fluorescent lights, each would save $60 a year in energy costs, $6.5 billion nationwide an prevent greenhouse gases equal to the emissions of 8 million cars from being produced and released into the atmosphere.
